Problem

Service members and their families navigate a maze of resources - benefits, contacts, deadlines, base-specific quirks - and most of it lives on websites they can't reliably reach from where they are. Existing apps are either thin directories or glorified PDFs; nothing they'd actually rely on at 0500 in a base parking lot with one bar of signal.

Solution

MilitaryHub is a SwiftUI app that bundles vetted resources into an offline-capable experience. Reminders are baked in for benefits deadlines and base-specific information is available per-organization. We cared about the small things - large tap targets, dark mode that respects the system, and accessibility audited by a real screen-reader user.

Impact

• Live in TestFlight with a small cohort of military families providing weekly feedback
• Offline-first architecture means the app works in spaces where commercial alternatives don't
• Designed and reviewed with input from active-duty service members at every milestone
